Volunteer Opportunities - Writer

Earth Archives is looking for a skilled volunteer writer to help us create short original articles (150-500 words) in the fields of natural history, Earth science, space science and biodiversity.

The best candidate will have the following skills, experience and expectations:

• Great command of the English language.
• Familiarity with, and love of, science and a desire to make science understandable for a mass audience.
• Journalism background preferred.
• Will work remotely with a team based in multiple places around the world. You must have a consistent internet connection.
• We communicate mainly with Facebook Messenger. You must have a Facebook account.
• Post stories to Facebook, Twitter and tumblr. We will train you.
• Must produce at least one story per day.
